The GOAL of our program is to assist each student to become a PHYSICALLY EDUCATED person that:
- HAS learned the skills necessary to perform a variety of physical activities.
- IS physically fit.
- DOES participate in physical activities.
- KNOWS implications of and benefits from the involvement in physical activities.
- VALUES physical activity and it's contribution to a healthy lifestyles and to pursue a lifetime of physical activity.
Our physical education program focuses on the following concepts:
- KNOWLEDGE- to learn about fitness, health concepts and movement.
- COMPETENCE- to understand the value of practice and to work to improve one's ability.
- CONFIDENCE- to try "new" activities.
- ATTITUDE- to put forth effort, interact respectfully with others, and to work to one's potential.
