The GOAL of our program is to assist each student to become a PHYSICALLY EDUCATED person that:
  • HAS learned the skills necessary to perform a variety of physical activities.
  • IS physically fit.
  • DOES participate in physical activities.
  • KNOWS implications of and benefits from the involvement in physical activities.
  • VALUES physical activity and it's contribution to a healthy lifestyles and to pursue a lifetime of physical activity.

Our physical education program focuses on the following concepts:

  • KNOWLEDGE-  to learn about fitness, health concepts and movement.
  • COMPETENCE-  to understand the value of practice and to work to improve one's ability.
  • CONFIDENCE-  to try "new" activities.
  • ATTITUDE-  to put forth effort, interact respectfully with others, and to work to one's potential.
